Shana has been a native of the marshlands of Little Egg Harbor for most of her life. She currently lives on a nature preserve in Egg Harbor Township. She is inspired by the simple things -- autumn leaves, the smell of fall and falling rain, the infinite ocean, and her supportive loved ones. During the day, Shana works at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, and creates unique pieces of wearable, affordable art in her spare time. When making her jewelry, she likes to remember one thing, “imperfections are beautiful because there is nothing interesting about perfect."
