Hello! I am a mixed media artist from Mount Laurel, New Jersey and a graduate of Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. I had an established presence in the art blogging community as well as Etsy, an online marketplace, where I began selling my original art and reproductions in 2007.
I am currently a regular artist at Church St. Art & Craft, an art gallery in Mount Holly, New Jersey. There I show new work and sell original art, prints, and note cards. I also attend a variety of local craft/art shows during the year.
My art reflects my personality and my love for color and old, torn, and worn things. I am a flea market fanatic so I am always trying to find a way to incorporate my vintage finds into my work. I use a combination of acrylics, vintage book pages, craft papers, tickets, and plaster molds to make whimsical creations.
Using recycled items in my work creates depth and visual interest. I like to know that someone can look at my paintings several times and always see something they didn’t notice before. I also try to add a bit of humor into my art. Everyone needs to laugh more!
I reside in a small ranch home with a lovely garden, my patient husband, two silly sons, and two crazy cats.
